Portmarnock Honoured by PPUI
08/03/2010 - Portmarnock win second place in Club of the Year
Portmarnock Pitch and Putt club were awarded second place in the 2009/10 PPUI Club of the Year awards by Eamonn Birchall, NEC Development Officer, at the recent NEC National Convention in Athlone.
The award was presented to Portmarnock delegate David Crum , pictured here with incoming PPUI President Myles McMorrow, DCB Chairman Christy Broe and Secretary Derek Carroll. The award recognizes and rewards the outstanding quality of the Portmarnock club, its untiring dedication to Under 16 membership and the hosting of the 2009 Juniors Strokeplay and Inter County Championships.
Portmarnock as a club are an excellent example of what a Pitch and Putt club can achieve and all credit to them for their efforts. Well done Portmarnock Pitch and Putt.
